I purchased this unit from Target on clearance for $24 (50% off seasonal clearance).

I purchased this unit because of it’s larger size, thinking that would mean it puts out more heat. I was wrong - I guess if I had thought about it, 1500watts is the same amount of heat no matter the size of the unit…

It only has one setting - HIGH. It has a 4 hour timer that will shut the unit off, which can be turned overridden for always on heat. The fan is noisy compared to other units, and doesn’t seem to have as much power as you would expect from this size of a unit. The fan only blows the heat about 2 feet from the unit. (Compared to my tiny Lasko 5965 heater that blows heat 3-4 feet from in front of the unit)

It is big and very lightweight, which could actually make it easier to knock over. The “SafetySmart” features are very neat and all tested well. If you throw a pillow or other object over the front grill the unit shuts off as designed.

Overall, I would not recommend this unit. It works well, but with no thermostat, no fan controls other than “ON and HIGH”, you can do much better. And as I learned - bigger is not better.
