Details

These heaters use glowing elements that emit infrared light. Like the sun, these heaters will directly warm the object or person in front of it. Radiant heaters also include a MaxFlow fan to push heated air out to warm the room. Two Quartz Tubes heat an area at up to 5000BTU with 2 heat settings (1000 Watts or 1500 Watts). An adjustable thermostat lets you choose a setting for optimal comfort.

Cons: Inaccurate thermostat needs improvement

I like this heater although I’ve only had it a few months. So far it’s not noisy and heats great. As for the front grill getting very hot - I’ll take your word since heaters are suppose to heat things.
