The low profile design of this heater make it perfect for any area of the home. Offering two different ways of providing heat: natural convection heating which is a silent, steady heat - or fan blasted Quick Heat™ for when you need a quick blast of fan forced heat. This heater features an adjustable thermostat to maintain your desired temperature. Safety features include a 3-prong grounded plug, heavy-duty power cord, flame resistant plastic and overheat protection. This unit also features a SafeGuard™ Alert badge that monitors the grille and warns when it is hot.

Heats only a small area

I purchased this product because I also owned a Slant Fin convection heater that does very well. I didn’t want to wait for shipment of another Slant Fin, so I picked this one up in Target one evening and returned it the next day. The “convection” part did not heat up a small room at all in one hour, and the “quick heat” setting only heated a small area around the heater. Sure, it was really hot next to the heater, but get about two feet away and you’d feel the REAL temperature of the room.

Additionally, the smell of the heater as it “warmed up” was disgusting!
