Built for long-lasting performance, this oil-filled heater is made of heavy-gauge steel and has a durable, rust-free enamel finish. Each metal fin is machine welded to ensure leak-free operation. The oil in this portable electric heater never needs to be refilled or replaced. Featuring electronic contorls, three heat settings and an adjustable thermostat for personal comfort, the heater has four easy-glide casters that make it easy to transport from room to room. This heater also features a tip-over switch that will disable the heater in the event that it is tipped over.

Works like a charm

Cons: Costs more than similar but more basic oil-filled radiator-style heaters.

We bought this during a cold snap when our furnace was down. It was the only model left in the store and I was leery of the controls (I worried they looked too complicated). It was actually really easy to figure out the controls, and it has worked great, as has every oil-filled radiator-style heater I have used. The oil-filled models are safer and quieter than other electric heaters. I like this one because it’s nice to have the LED display of the current temperature. Otherwise, it generally operates the same as lesser-priced similar models.
