I bought this product as it seemed to meet the requirements I had. Living in Canada and having a sunken living room, we require a secondary source of heat to add to the forced air heating. This unit was very hot to the touch, but did not add any significant heat to the room! The box indicates it is best for large rooms, but I would think that it would have trouble heating a 10ft X 10ft bedroom. After letting it run for 2 hours on a cold winters night, we turned it off and plugged in our older duracraft heater with a fan and were warmed immediately.
